From what I'm hearing, American enthusiasts are taking notice of FG Falcons and can't believe that they never heard of them before they went out of production - particularly the turbos. It's possible that these models may become sought after in the US as the old hardtops are for Mad Max restorations. Seems that Edsel Ford III (Director of Ford Australia in 2000's) took his G6E turbo over to Detroit and told the board of directors that this was what they should be building in America. After viewing and driving the car they turned down the idea flat most, likely because the Aussie Ford showed them up!

ALan Mulally took a G6ETurbo back to the states before it was unveiled here and that was his personal car. Reason they didn't made it available in LHD is Falcon would have killed Mustang completely. Thing to notice is Mustangs improved suspension came to be from FG's also Americans couldn't admit that they were wrong as Falcon was once mad in the states and canned but we continued making it, Truth is if they killed Taurus Falcons could have been sold over there instead but what can you do, American ego is huge.

@@DIgitusSmartas Interesting to know Allan Mullaly took a G6 Turbo as his personal car. But I don’t think it’s got anything to do with American Ego. GM released the VE as the Pontiac and Monaro as GTO and they just didn’t sell. By the 2000’s Americans didn’t care about 4 door sedans as much as Australians did. It was all about SUV’s and lifted pickups. Same thing here now, hence why both Holden and Ford left. Unfortunate but thats where the market went

91scuba, yea I think someone has been fiddling with the dyno, that is if it has been dynode. Easiest way to see if it is 650hp is take it down the 1/4 mile and see what time it pulls

Sorry "corner" as you put it, I have been upgrading suspension for 25+ years so I know a thing or 2 about setting geometry up for standard and redeveloped suspension
