Yes, j'étais vraiment étonné de pouvoir grimper cette montée. Je pourrais aller jusqu'à Cassis, recharger un peu la bas et revenir sur Marseille! Pas de problème de surchauffe non plus donc vraiment prometteur 👌🏻

What kind of difference do you think the TKP with the BC3 will make compared to the DKP with the BC2?

Didn't test it yet, but I will definitely review the TKP on the BC3. The BC3 is an upgrade of the BC2. They just conserve the design/style of the board but put better electronics in it : New ESC fully customizable which will drop more power, 50S Samsung battery will give u more power, acceleration and brake but still conserve the same range as before, the TKP is entirely designed by ONSRA, no one has this trucks yet on the market, it will just make the ride safer and still keeping the carving possibility! I think it's the end of DKP.. All companies used it before to have a better carving experience, well this TKP can do it also and remove the unbalance feeling on the ride! If you hesitate between the two boards and you're not in the hurry to get a board, I'll recommend you to wait the BC3 to come! Preorders have started, they should be delivered in September to customers!! Let me know if you have any other questions! Cheers mate

Ca a l'air balaise ! Ca fait quelques mois que je me tâte pour remplacer mon Backfire Ranger X1, et j'hésite fort entre le X2 ou 3 et le Black Carve 2. Comment ça se passe pour la stabilité des doubles kingpins trucks à grande vitesse ? Les 2 fois où je me suis salement vautré avec mon X1 c'était justement en descente de pente (même pas longue, en plus), où mes roues ont commencé à bien wobbler, et je me suis bien étalé ! Du coup, je suis un peu méfiant des doubles kingpins, maintenant. Mais tu sembles pas avoir eu de problème dans la descente.

Hello, merci pour ton commentaire! Bah écoute j'étais déjà habitué avec la version 1 pour les Double kingpin. Après c'est une question d'habitude et surtout de bushings. Les bushings utilisés sont 100A, donc très dur et ils sont vraiment très stables à haute vitesse. J'ai pu tester avec plusieurs roues à la vitesse max, jamais eu de wobbles. Beaucoup les critiques pour cela ces trucks mais franchement une fois que tes pieds sont habitués, c'est top!

A lot of motors resistance, you can't skate it like a regular longboard, it's heavy!

The uphill speed is honestly the only thing that impresses me about this board so far. But compared to my ranger x2, the acceleration sucks, the brakes are weak and never come to a complete stop; I have to put my foot down to actually fully stop usually. Which is kinda stupid. Oh, and I’m not even getting close to the advertised 34 mph top speed. I can barely reach 29 miles per hour, and if there is any wind at all, I can only reach like 26. Not getting even close to the 33.5 advertised range either. My last ride I got about 17 miles. And before you ask about my weight and how I ride, I am only 70 kilograms, I don’t ride that aggressively and my riding terrain is mostly flat. So this is honestly pretty unacceptable. If you advertise a top speed of 34mph, I expect to get a top speed of 34mph... or at least 32, for goodness sake. And if you advertise a top range of 33.5, I would at least like to get 25 miles on an average ride. I gotta say man, I honestly kind of feel like I got jipped. I think the way Onsra is advertising the specs of their boards is kind of shady. Like is the way they got that 34 mph top speed with a 50 kilogram rider with the wind blowing behind them? Did they get that top range by riding at 10 miles an hour with a 50 kilogram person on a consistently flat terrain? Sorry man, not trying to be too aggressive or anything, I’m just kind of frustrated because I spent a lot of money on this thing and I just didn’t get what was advertised, and it just doesn’t perform in the ways I was hoping. I’m kicking myself for deciding to buy this thing. Should have got the Backfire Ranger X3. I would have saved hundreds of dollars and I would have actually gotten what was advertised. But there’s no taking it back now, I just gotta live with it.

Hey Chase, thanks for your message. Are you talking about your experience of your Black Carve 1 ? If you don't get the range advertised, it's maybe that you have a problem with your battery. 33,5 miles advertised miles for the 1 ? It's only written 28 on the website.. 34mph you can reach it with the 120mm Cloudwheels, which type of wheels do you ride with? Range and top speed are pretty accurate on the website, I myself just did some range test today on the Black Carve 2 and I reached the number (-10% cause I don't ride to completely 0%, it damaged the battery). Anyway if you have any problems with your board, you can reach the customer service! I can feel your frustration, but I'm sure that a solution will be found. Cheers

Well on the website I ordered it, it does mention that the 34 mph and the 33.5 mile range are with the Cloud wheels, however, they do not disclose, (at least at the top of the page where it initially shows all the specs) what the range and speed will be with the wheels that THE BOARD ACTUALLY COMES WITH. I did notice that it mentioned the 120mm Cloud Wheels, but I didn’t figure the difference in range and speed would be THAT drastic. Like if it gets 33.5 range with the cloud wheels, I figured maybe with the rubber wheels I could get like 25 miles. I figured if with the cloud wheels it gets 34 mph too speed, then with the rubber wheels I could at least get up to 30-31mph. But no, I can BARELY make it up to 28. Sometimes I can only hit 27. That is a 7 mph difference, which is just ridiculous. I live in the US btw, so I ordered it from the onsra California website. Not sure if there are different websites for Europe vs US.
