@@InsaneFrame Or, because X-Com never got far enough to blow up the temple ship in xcom 2's timeline, the chosen soldier from the first game was trying to contact the commander through the simulation advent put him in to train advent's soldiers (that's what the first game is) and this playthrough is the chosen soldier finally getting to the commander.

Theres me struggling on legend to get past the first few months without loosing a lot of guys, and yet here you are one level down destroying with 1 person 😂 love all the series on this - very interested in watching a full series play through so i can steal some tips

@@SilentNinja1x 3 things, 1. Action economy how much can you get done from each soldier each turn 2. Line of sight if you can waste the enemy's turn finding you do so (helps to take one pod at a time) and movement is OP for this 3.Some abilities solo are very powerful (return fire being a prime example) the opposite is also true for groups synergy is key a sharp shooter/ranger is a very strong combo add in some good equipment your rolling! Lastly keep at it the fact your playing legendary is phenomenal it gets really hard as you probably know resources are essential on legendary also skirmsher HQ is very powerful on legendary

suggestion for a challenge: beat xcom chimera squad only using androids The rules: you have to use androids as soon as possible. you cannot attack via operatives after the androids have been deployed. to get to use the androids you WILL need to get an operative downed which is allowed since they are used only at the first battle. normal difficulty.

7:36 Why train inspire here? Get VIPs out of places faster in the early game? Edit: I guess it works with domination or mind controlled enemies even early when you just have insanity. Still surprised it was picked up early, depending on what it appeared next to Edit 2: Is it possible at all to do any of these on Legendary? I noticed the sniper one had been on Veteran and that this one had moved up to Commander-- Do you think it'd be even possible to make the leap to legendary or is it too harsh? (I've been doing my first playthrough of the game on Legendary and I cannot imagine soloing this is possible, but if anyone'd know it'd probably be you lmao)

Xcom 1 veteran here, played xcom 2 vereran diff on my first run and didnt even know u need to specifically train a psi op to get a psi soldier and play throught the entire game thinking, when will i get a psi soldier other than our MC avatar at the last mission

focus on damage and when you reach tier 2 weapons get predator armour and have a squad Alpha and then a backup squad Bravo you'll get there

Could you please increase bit rate while recording? I understand that uploading in 4k give 1080p screen better quality picture. Problem is that with low bit rate on the original video, no amount of avoiding compression will be helpful.

Took me a while to get around to this video but I never miss one of these! The difficulty must have been insane, although Psi-Soldiers are luckily overpowered as can be. I don't think this would've been doable with any other class. What do you think?

It is very difficult but it is very good i will say this was the hardest run for the chosen as they were not easy by any stretch and took alot of tries (they got very good abilities)

As far as I know, on "kill all enemies" missions, Lost don't count and will keep spawning until you kill all the Advent.

you have to kill the last lost otherwise its counted as a loss however you will still counter the dark event if the objectives are completed

You can't have Psi Operatives until you build a Psi Lab and train a Rookie into being a Psi Operative. And it's quite late in the game. So, what are you even talking about? Showind on the video as if you had a Psi Operative as one of youe soldiers after the first mission.
