A man walks down a rainy New York sidewalk. Cars splash water onto the pavement as they wiz by; their yellow blurred between the drops of water and late night fog. The man wears a trenchcoat; his hands hidden in his pockets, and his neck obscured by the cuff of his collar. No one sees the man as he makes his way through the stormy night. He has left his home, he has left his job, he has left his previous life; forced to by the inevitable truth. He makes his way forward through the rain; one step of his brown shoes at a time. This is the Invisible Man.

I love how inspirations from video games and anime present so clearly in this piece while still focusing on your unique musical voice. I can't help but think that "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison was also an inspiration for this song. The name of the piece and the story you're telling reminds me a lot of that book, which I think is amazing. I've also taken a lot of inspiration from that book in my works over the years. It's so interesting to see people's different perceptions of what it feels like to be invisible. This is not really how I felt when I felt invisible, but it's a genuinely believable perspective. The quality of music is always very high, but I've only seen this level of storytelling and emotional depth in a few of your pieces. Overall, one of the most thought-provoking InsaneInTheRain pieces.
