Sorry, I know this is an old video, *and* I know you're taking a well-deserved break, but hopefully you don't mind me talking about how much your rendition of this has meant to me. I finished some really big exams a while ago after every exam that went well, I'd play this in my headphones as I walked home. When my mum was sick last year due to cancer and chemotherapy and I needed a break from it all, I'd listen to this and it'd reboot my spirits whenever I needed it to. When lockdown occurred and someone very dear to me had their mental health take a turn for the worst, I'd listen to this. Thank you. Thank you so much for making this beautiful music, as it has done nothing but soothe my soul over the trials of the last year. Regardless of how long your break is (in which I hope you're taking all the time you need), I just wanted to post this here. Just so that you knew how much your music has helped me :)

I was pleasantly surprised by this arrangement. I haven't seen you arrange something for a small jazz combo, and I am super impressed by how hard this grooved. The piano intro was not only super innovative and interesting to listen to, but also featured the best faces I've ever seen you make. The bass and tenor fit perfectly into what was established by the piano and stayed in the pocket the entire time. Solos were very creative and fit well with the backgrounds. 3:44 was a very appreciated reference to the file select music in The Legend of Zelda and I know you planned in advance to pull that out for your piano solo. I tried to find something to leave you for constructive criticism to get better like I always do, but I couldn't find a single thing that I felt you could have improved on. In short, I think this is the best arrangement/cover you have made to date, and I am very impressed with how far you have come these past few years. I am very pleased with how you have progressed as a musician and I hope you continue to do great things with music in your life!

Really seems like you were having fun with this one! Aquatic Ruin Zone is one of my all time favorites, and the music has always been my favorite part...to me, it's a great example of what you can do to express a theme through music, even when you don't have many tracks to use, and have to keep it simple (in this case to work on the console). As for this piece, it felt like you were really letting your own style take over the music at certain points, especially during the solos, which I thought was awesome...it felt very free-flowing, but it always came back to the basic rhythm, almost like you were using the song as a template for you to experiment with your own ideas, rather than just covering the track with a solo in the middle. Kinda different from your usual stuff, but I liked this better! Hope this is a sign of things to come. The ebb and flow of the tempo and dynamics worked really well. I can definitely here the influence from Hiromi Uehara's work. Lots of creativity, I really liked it!

Amazing. Sonic games may not always be great gameplay wise, but those soundtracks never ever disappoint. Fantastic arrangement! :D

You know, half of these songs just aren't the same if I'm not actually watching you play them. The energy is unreal. Kudos to you-dos.

OH DUDE that little motif you added to the song. And then the random slower version at 4:10. So stanky
