To be fair the violas are often neglected by everyone. I mean, my friend who plays the cello and I were talking and I asked him if there are any violas in the orchestra, he says there's one but the Viola is useless and just a hybrid. But don't worry as a tuba player I invite you to join the Low Brass in our war against the overrated melodic instruments, we've also recruited the tenor and bass sax. Which is also funny because we're going to play Insane in the Rain as a small group and I will play the solo trombone part because the trombonist was scared of the high notes😅

This is way too underrated, I've listened to this song a hundred times and introduced this guy to a lot of my friends and some of my family simply for this song! I've made a playlist on KZbin instead of spotify simply so this song can come up! I keep listening to it and it has helped keep me sane doing homework during quarantine. Thank you so much for making such a masterpiece, and even though this video may not have gotten the most views, I encourage you to make more videos like this in the future, as they are simply amazing! What’s crazy to me is that almost all of the series represented here have now received some form of Smash representation here. Kingdom Hearts, Sephiroth himself, Sans and K Rool in the medley, and obviously the ones that were already there before this released. Dearly Beloved brought tears to my eyes. I was just... not ready. I loved the muted trumpets and the guitar shredding for Dancing Mad- quite unlike any other take I've ever heard on that song. J-E-N-O-V-A was hype as all hell; the kind of frenetic energy that piece has is only amplified by a live band. Lastly, Bowser's theme was positively sleazy. I mean that is the absolute filthiest I've ever heard that piece, and I want more of it in my life.

That SM64 Bowser's Theme section sounds like it came straight from Mario Kart 8 with that mix of electric guitar and horns! So badass!!!

I went back to listen to this again and my goodness, Carlos, your arrangement and composition skills are unmatched! You manage to place each instrument in exactly the place it needs to be at every given moment while handling some really tricky chords and chord progressions and creating some orchestrations that are better than any rendition I've heard before. The Dearly Beloved X Simple and Clean, National Park theme, and the Megalovania x Gangplank mashup all made me tear up each time, sometimes from the beauty and sometimes just from the awe of how you made it work so well. You're gonna go places, man, big places, and I can't wait to see what's in store for you!
