Ryland is great, not because of his expertise, but because the positive, genuine energy that comes through the video. Content creators must remember, youtube is felt, not seen! His personality & energy is simply the best I’ve witnessed both in person and online! ☀️💚

I can't tell you how much I love seeing these smaller church tech tours as well as the big ones. As someone from a very small church with limited budget and technology, seeing how some churches make do with so little is not only inspiring but also encouraging to keep persevering. Thanks so much!

How tall is your piano shell/how big are the monitors? We have one but I feel like it isn’t tall enough to hold two monitors in there too. Trying to find another shell so we can have a setup similar to yours. (Love the separate keys rig video btw!!)

Very cool, man! Love the setup. Will definitely try it at my church.

If you had the funds and resource to have a DAW would you still do the bus mix method?
@collabworship2 жыл бұрын
Yes. The bus method produces great results and saves a lot of time to be used elsewhere.

For what it is worth, for the panels to be for effective, they should be in the corners. Corners is where the sound piles up and gets reflected the most. They are also less effective when set up to be symmetrical. Think of the room as all moirrors and shine a flash light at a wall and see how the reflections travel.

Very nice. I would love to have their budget. 😁 We are just starting a new church. This video is awesome. Thanks!

Ryland said that they built up to what they have now over the course of 10 years. So don't be discouraged! Do what you can and play the long game.

What do you mean by "the bass is little swimmy"?
@collabworship7 ай бұрын
Bass frequencies are not as tight as they could be. You hear them bouncing around the room a bit.

on a budget of jeff bezos hahahaha... but i know this is a small investment for a really good sound system and far from what the best companies offers.

I see quite a few worship audio tech tour videos and always wonder: are worship audio equipment budgets too high today (especially in bible belt regions of US)? Whilst all the rest of us in UK who are hand to mouth have to settle on cottage industry home studio gear worth less than £2500 you guys are raking in all the community donations, indulgently spaffing it up the wall on world wide broadcasting grade media equipment.😂 What happen to the days of a struggling church bringing people together with just an acoustic folk setup with a guitar and a singer with a small pa.😂
@collabworship Жыл бұрын
I think it's safe to say that technology and budget don't equal effectiveness. It's all relative anyway. A $2500 PA for one church might be the same percentage of the budget as a $100,000 PA for another. In the end, it's not really our responsibility or place to judge how God is leading them with their finances. They're accountable to God for that. On top of that, we're talking about a God that has unlimited resources. This kind of stuff is nothing to Him in terms of funding it. He just doesn't want us to make technology or creativity our god. - Dillon
