A nice bow slot option for this sort of character is Bow of the Banshee. Just having it equipped will add 1d4 damage to your melee attacks against frightened enemies. If you use Menacing Attack frequently, this should add some damage pretty often.

@@Hwachaaah True, but it has a pretty bad fixed save DC, so you need bonuses like Arcane Acuity or Mental Fatigue to proc the frightened condition reliably. You also probably don't want to bust out your bow on a low-DEX bruiser like this, so the bow slot tends to be a "stat stick" slot, anyway.

Youi haven't seen a lot of builds like this, because Polearm Master is a broken feat. It doesn't work... been bugged since release.

If amulet of greater health is being used by another character, broodmother's revenge is a nice option with helm of balduran and ring of regeneration

Nice build, i think im gonna run this dex on minthara and go 7 vengance 5 battlemaster for the movement ability vengeance gets at 7, and using the dex polearm

Why not pick up GWM? There’s a fair amount of ways to impose advantage on all attacks anyways. It’s also a great way to boost the damage of the butt of the weapon

Yeah, this build focuses on disabling more than damage, if you want you can add smites, but spell slots will be very limited and only level 1

I saw that with the bonespike helmet, you get 1/2 damage if you pass a save; does that stack with the resistance to damage from the armor? If so, how do the mechanics work?

It's because polearm master isn't working correctly and hasn't been since the games release. It's very well known and talked about by the devs on the forums alot. So yeah, it's not talked about because it's still not working correctly.

We already can use bonus attack from polemaster, it's weaker than GWM though and we definitely could use it too :) i just like balanced stats

You call a Warrior on lvl 12 with this Equip OP Fighter Build? When he make with a single Attack 13 dmg. What for a Kind of Joke... Even Astarion on lvl3 is making mit the bows more dmg on a large greater Distanze... Thats only clickbait and embarrassing
