Insanity is Doing the Same Thing yada yada... it's more Slice & Dice

Tactical dice-rolling roguelike combat. Take control of 5 heroes, each with their own unique dice. Fight your way through 20 levels of monsters and try to take on the final boss. If you lose a single fight you have to start over so be careful (and lucky!).

If you get a chance to replace the cantrip selfharm of clumsy, don't take it and proceed to complain about it. Peak Olexa moment :D

Coffin can be a lot better if you get it later, like close to your last level up. Its hard because Coffin himself does almost nothing without items. and getting a tier 0 means that you need 2 more level ups before you get another level 2.

For Generate runs: turn on all Generate/random things you unlocked, and if you can click 5%->20%

I don't want to be backseaty, but my experience with coffin (and generates with coffin's ability) is that it's awful to pick early but if it's your last t2 upgrade it makes the team stronger overall. Being stuck on a squad of t1s for longer is so punishing that early coffin just ain't it

".Forty-Five" recently released for free on steam, also "Buckshot Roulette" i dont know if that latter one is quite up your alley, the former is good old deckbuilder with a few twists and turns, literally, the latter no deckbuilding or anything, just chance and thus accordingly logic about it. Definitely heavy in the moment planning despite not building a deck.

Going for the sixth hero isn't _always_ a bad play, it more or less just depends on the value of the green your giving up and the importance of getting to level 3 on a given run. I actually just got my first nightmare win with 6 heroes ;P

You should try to play this mode on normal next time. It’s already hard enough without any negative additions to the mode. And while I know that easy mode is not very interesting I still would like to see it at least once just so people can see what it’s like. Maybe do easy on the mode where you use a victorious team and fight waves 21-30?
