An idea for the reroll cantrip side: If we select it, it should allow for adding a reroll to the next turn.. that would make that side an interesting thing to play with

It is fun to play with...find a way to increase the amount then add in other cantrips then proceed to slaughter your enemy's before the battle even starts

I am absolutely enjoying this series, I love this game and watching people play it is always a good time. If I could make a suggestion, when you are running through a play "for science" if you use you offensive dice before your defensive ones (when possible) it would save you the trouble of undoing everything just to change who you shield or heal initially. Not important but a small optimization suggestion.

STOKED you unlocked curse mode! It's the most fun part of the game for me (well… maybe I'm omitting some stuff here haha). Would be extremely keen to see you give it a go.

Been loving the series. Great to see a statue pick. Had a great run where i had an item that item that added an attack that did dmg and pain equal to health. My favorite class is Barbarian and it’s similar classes.

On the Sinew, the description of Chain is "x2 if this shares A keyword with the previously used dice this turn" and not "x2 if this shares THIS keyword with the previously used dice this turn" so in theory it should be doubled by any die with Cleave or Chain

I haven't played the game or checked the achievements but it might be an idea to let a few monsters flee, might be a class unlock connected to that... Maybe? Anyway, great series! Can't wait to watch it when I get home.

Just had my first run with statue tonight, took it after my first item was an emerald shard! Its very clear the intent is to like... load it up with emerald shard then use other characters to get them decent build for peak use. Otherwise if you're keeping it late enough, the fairy dust upgrade is the perfect addition!

Loving the series, ignore the nasty backseaters and keep playing how you are, if they can do better whilst being entertaining/engaging to listen too then they should be uploading S+D rather than sitting about critically analysing every move you make.

Two things I think would help you a lot: 1. Treat bones as sources of free AoE damage, instead of threats. 2. Seek first to remove threats, then to mitigate the ones you can't remove.

What a fun run. Also, a curse that gives all hero faces Decay just sounds like the worst pick in literally every situation. At a base, that means each face can be used maybe once, and as we've seen hitting all 6 of your faces in a battle just never happens, meaning you're gonna loop back to them a lot. It's like reverse momentum, except you don't start any stronger.

All the hotkeys! (I think) Spells: qwerty Undo: z Reroll: r You can also hotkey the dice that target other heroes by pressing 3 followed by 1 for example

I have been using statue a number of times. No losses so far. One of the best possibilty is having long sword + statue.

had a great run with statue and the item that turns the right most square into stun a enemy with lower hp than you + a dancer with a 5 middle square reroll! infinite rerolls + permastun on bosses

Love Statue. That 20 HP sucks up so many "heavy" attacks from enemies. Shame how many of the items that really scale it up are 1) kinda tedious unlocks and 2) come after t2 hero upgrades

"Actually that one play wasn't technically as correct as it could be. You should have done a counter-clockwise dice juggle into a quick reload to confuse the monsters priority. Then if you un-stack all of your status effect, the way the math works the rounding will give you an extra half a point of damage! It's simple really."

1:27:30 I actually think it would've been possible to safe everyone without killing the Dragon while only using the keepers and the prophets dice. Use the Prophets heal on the venom first, venom gets rescued and prophet can use his dice again, then use the keepers dice on the prophet and use the prophets dice on the keeper, now the prophets rescues himself due to self-heal and self-shield granted to him by the keeper and should be able to use his dice again, due to having rescued themselves, to heal the keeper a second time and save them as well, and while by no means necessary to win i just found it interesting.

Game is great but they need to tree the upgraded characters better. When you look at the encyclopedia your 2nd and 3rd upgrade options should be highlighted based on the classes you available to you.

I think you misunderstood chain (from senew) as it states "shares a keyword" so having cleve should count as well , or am I the one who misunderstood the term keyword

I'd imagine I'm referring to the rogue cloak face that dodges damage. It is one of the difficult things about no die faces having set names lol

@@Retromation Ah that makes sense now! I've since looked in the almanac and there is an item called Cloak (level 1) that gives a dodge face to the middle left. Silk Cape being the level 9 item that copies left most face to the middle row.

Dang! First try on hard, Congrats. Took me like 7 to get a win, but you seem to always get offered great synergies unlike me. lol I really wish you'd try to unlock raid mode- 10 heros & double enemies (including bosses) is so wild. But unlike everything else in the game, you won't unlock raid by playing normally cause you have to win a run without equipping any items. I'd recommend playing on easy cause the starting blessing can really help make up for no gear.

The special challenges for items don't seem balanced to me. They seem awful. I think I've only ever accepted 1, managed to survive and still kinda regreted it.
