Insects in SloMo 1 - 4K -

I've had the a6700 for about a week now and have found the video to be an excellent upgrade from my a6400. I spent several hours this past week chasing bugs around the yard testing out the 4K 60p and 120p and thought I'd add a video showing some results. All of these clips (except the last one) were shot with the S-cinetone profile (PP11) in XAVC S 4K 120, 200M 4:2:0 8 bit. I don't have an editor that will do 10 bit and am not sure I need it for what I do. Insect recognition was turned on and worked quite nicely. The last clip of the bunny is 30p. For the 120p clips, I kept the shutter speed at 1/250th, used auto ISO for the changing light, and adjusted aperture as needed. There was no post processing done at all. I used both the Sony 70-350mm and 18-135mm and had stabilization turned on.

Wonderful footage! Just upgraded to the a6500 myself. Enjoying the old Konica lenses on it for now.

Thanks Jordan! Hope you are enjoying your new camera. I still have a lot of learning to do on this one and am trying to learn Davinci Resolve for editing. Sitting here now watching tutorials.

Thanks! There have been quite a few hummingbird moths around lately, but very few monarchs. I'm hoping to use some of the slow motion in my waterfall videos, but still need practice to see what looks good. Hopefully we'll get some good rain in the next few days to add some water to the creeks around here!
