This was great! Instead of 37 lines I put 34 and that helped deal with needing to use the side ruler to get rid of the second page.

Hey Ms Lisa, When I made my table, the lines came out super wide! When I try lowering the space as you suggested, it still remains huge. Am I missing something?? Thank you

Thank you for this! I have a further question so I hope you see this comment. I am preparing a copy notebook for my students so I would like to insert words on the table so they can copy them by hand on the printed version but the words do not sit on the lines and there's a problem with the parts of letters that have to be under the line. Is there a way to fix this?

You could reduce the margin of the table cell to 0 and try different fonts to find one that can overlap the lines at the bottom for certain letters.
