They have tried to do not one, but two remakes of this, but what they don't realise, is that it's the host of the shows that make it special. R.I.P Sir Jim Bowen. Got his signed pic, when the show was in Birmingham back in the early 80s, when I was about 6-7.👌

I said this show was a mess to start with, now I've watched more of this episode, it's even worse than I thought.

They had this dart board to decide the runnning order wt the start of the show. Then it was used again when 2 couples were equsl on ￡0 at the end of the round to eliminate 1 of the 2 couples. Nobody won much money in that first ATV series. It also got used on what from series 2 became the pounds for points round to decide who got the crack at answering the question when both players made the same score. I think thst explains the mess in thst ATV series.
