It's finally that time of year again, Flounder season is open here in North Carolina for the next couple weeks and I'm excited!
Catching flounder wasn't a problem for me this day but getting one the right size was! Luckily i was able to get a keeper in the boat along with a nice speckled trout!

Great video. Excellent production quality. My parents moved to NC and my father is an avid fisherman from the Northeast. Hoping that your videos inspire my Dad to get out and fish ! In the Northeast, flounder are caught with clam baits, never seen anyone fish for flounder with artificial lures. Thanks again, keep up the great work.

Nice! I was there opening day and the 2nd day at surf city. We got a couple keepers but caught ALOT of shorts. First day was bad but we caught a couple slot size drum. I wish they would have made it 4 weeks. I wont be back until late Sept.

I got to get down there, these cool mornings got trout on my mind... you ever cooked the flounder whole? Mannn soo good that way.. cut the heads off, scale them and put a couple slits in the back and bro...

Yeah fall is definitely starting to creep in! Im excited for the trout bite!! And I haven’t tried them whole yet! I have heard that they’re good that way but I usually fillet them but I’ll definitely give it a try this season!
