That area has a lot of grass and its a great spot for a kayak, especially in the shallow. Let me know how you do when you get out there.

They are the Oakley Split Shot, Prizm Deep Water Polarized Lenses, Matte Black Frame. I normally order them from Oakley Standard Issue, www.oakleysi.com/en-us at a discounted price. If you qualify, this might be the way to avoid paying full price. I paid $132 about a year and a half ago. I honestly love these sunglasses for both inshore and offshore because they cut a lot of the glare off the water.

No registration required for a kayak in Florida unless it has a motor mounted on it.

Love your videos. When you fish Eglin, where do you put in? Do you have to have special permission?

Thank you! I normally launch from Eglin main in areas like Post’l Point and the Camp site. I’m not sure what the process is for non-military to get base access. Try calling the Eglin visitor center, they should be able to answer that. Eglin does have some off base property such as White Point and Bay Flats near Nick’s Seafood. For any Eglin property you do need a recreation pass which you can get on their website eglin.isportsman.net . Hopefully this info helps.

A decent spot for fishing is White Point which is right next to the Maxwell Gunter Campground near MidBay Bridge. White Point is a part of Eglin and you do need a recreation pass which you can get online at eglin.isportsman.net . At white point you can fish from the bank or wade. An okay spot is Lincoln Park in Valparaiso which you can fish from the bank. The Valparaiso Pier is up the road from Lincoln Park. It's a small pier, but off to the right is an area and if the vegetation has been cut down can be fished from the bank.

Probably not until this fall. I’m currently out for work but do have some vids to cover some of that gap. Fish finders are somewhat plug and play with default settings. You can always make adjustments. A couple of KZbin tutorial vids should help. If you’re going offshore and trying to fish the reefs I highly recommend a fish finder to help navigate, mark fish, and mark structure. You can also just troll and not need a fish finder as long as you know how to get back to your start point.

@OA Fishing Jacked the Spanish up in destin harbor till the tide changed. Was a great current break just north of crab island with birds diving and fish biting good but was to windy to stay and fish it. Hooked 2 big blue fish and a BIG speck in the harbor aswell
