How much would the rent be for something like this .
@1W1W1W27Ай бұрын
Wait until he shows you how steep the streets are nearby. This area is practically impossible to walk anywhere

The social/ community rooms would make great co-work spaces instead of being empty 95% of the time, (this applies to all buildings around the world but most places haven't caught on). The pool area would look great with lush plants, right now it's lacking in curb appeal. Great video, enjoy watching real estate videos from around the world.

Am i understanding this correctly if i buy a property in Colombia thats 125k dollars or more i will automatically obtain a residency visa in five years if i stay in Colombia the entire time does that mean I will have residency forever or to I need to keep reapplying for residency. Thank you
@investmedellinrealestateАй бұрын
The figure is more like $165k. This allows you to maintain the minimum investment threshold to hold the investment visa for 5 years consecutively (you will have to reapply to make up this 5 years, as usually it's only given for 1-3 years at a time.) After the 5 years, you can apply for residency.
@user-rw718Ай бұрын
@@investmedellinrealestate everyone gives different information the wandering investor says with 100k a person can obtain residency after 5 years. Does the government of Colombia have a website where the exact information can be found

Just make sure they aren’t putting up another building right in front of yours. I’m in Medellin now, and there is a building going up on every corner of where my building is. It’s non stop construction here. Likely to destroy all the charm here and eventually cause a collapse in prices

An area that’s high in rent and apartment costs. Expect your taxes to be higher. Also Medellin is crowded with lots of traffic and pollution. Expect it to be hot year around. Move to areas like Rio negro or Le Ceja where it’s nice to live

What a coincidence, I was just looking at Rio Negro, La Ceja and other small cities between the airport and Medellin. My wife wants to go back to Colombia, but she's not from Medellin. I'm looking for a good spot for our family and girls 8 & 15. I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'm American. My girlfriend is Colombian. Could she get a mortgage in her name and I would make the monthly payments? What is the typical mortgage like for Colombians? For example is it 30 years like in America?
@investmedellinrealestate2 ай бұрын
@@ericleblanc4984 yes she can get the mortgage in her name, but usually the bank won't give you more than a 15 year term.

This doesn’t sound like a good idea my friend.

I advise you to thread carefully, it’s really difficult to gauge intentions and true love but make sure she isn’t taking advantage of you

I have heard of situations where an American puts the apartment in the girlfriends or spouse’s name. Later when divorced or separated the one with the name on the apartment ends up owning it. Also, I believe that banks require a 20% down payment
