@@bettybreeze78What I see hasn’t so much to do with changing the original character of the home as it does basic maintenance of wear and tear items. Old carpeting, heavily scuffed wood floors, staircase, etc.

I agree. The price is optimistic for the state and condition. It’s not a question of it being “ruined”, more that regular maintenance and care seems to be in short supply.

It's got a neglected look about it , very cluttered and disorganised and doesn't flow ,some beautiful period features but it looks as if it needs work on it and that is a hefty price tag for a property in this condition
