I'm so impressed with you, young lady. Not only you took the big leap, but you also made it on a very small budget. So many other tiny houses now are costing over $100K. I know how much effort you put into it because we also build our house. We did like you, looked for bargains everywhere. We bought a 3/4-acre lot, build our 1,200 sq feet house, and our attached 1,000 sq feet "studio" all of it for $56K USD. Mind you it was 20 years ago, but still. We, like you, paid as we went. Now that you have the building experience, you might buy a lot somewhere and build your new house. on it and pay as you go. You're very smart.

Such an inspiration! Such tenacity to do a tiny jome in uk, everything is a struggle. She can be so proud of herself. I would go without a washing machine to have a location like she has.

You could put a washer drier in the shed, or build a lean to on the back of the tiny house. But you have done a great job👍🇬🇧

cute cat lady 😍 building the house is the easy part, its buying land and being able to live on it thats the hard part.

I completely agree, my partner and I are currently converting a bus to do the same. We started out of a love for nature and travel but have now realized moving into it full-time would be the only way we can afford a house.

Is the composting toilet in the house or outside? Does the poo stay in the composting toilet for any time or does if not where does it go? Also do your guest use it?
@johnshaw414014 сағат бұрын
If you don't eat meat you can use the waste as fertiliser in your veggie plot
@box100714 сағат бұрын
Why does it have to be vegan poo? Is there like a pit below the pan where the waste rots until suitable for composting? It must stink?
@missmooey12311 сағат бұрын
Hey, so this is my house! The composting toilet is basically a bucket inside that I put sawdust in which stops it smelling, and it all goes in my compost bin outside when it’s full. The compost has straw all the way around it so it doesn’t smell outside either. Over a year in and people are always surprised by how clean it is! And guests are happy to use it :)
