No one's asked, but I would've built the kitchen on the ground floor near the courtyard and used the spot between the kitchen and formal sitting rooms as the dining room. Then the lower ground floor could have been the family room/ extra bedrooms/ office space. I mean, maybe no one who buys these homes cooks, but it seemed like the ground floor was a lot of empty space. Great tour as always!

My friend and her boyfriend bought a ground floor flat around the corner 25 years ago. As each flat above sold they bought it. In 5 years they had a 5 bed house just off The kings road. Sadly he died but his life insurance paid off the mortgage. She sold it for £3m 10 years ago. Went to live in Brighton as she was an artist and preferred the light. Bought a beautiful home.

When I lived in London I lived with my partner in Glebe Place and a few years back I saw the house on the market for over 20 million ! Incredible. That said I lived for two years in the early 70's in a Victorian terrace house with front and back garden in Willesden and when I left it the community offered it to me for 6000 pounds with a 7 year mortgage as a student ! I said "who want's to live in Willesden" ! It's now worth over a million.

Great tour but a bit disappointed with this place. Location I get. The mirror from pulp is nice but the layout and finishing is a bit ordinary. Greyge everywhere. Dare I say it looks a bit cheap? Nothing gave me the wow factor. Oh and mirrored doors in a kitchen? Purlease. Even the curtains in the principle suite are standard pleats. A missed opportunity in my view. Whomever buys this needs to gut the place and get in a decent interior designer. Could be so much better.

Love seeing all the old architecture. Our oldest surviving buildings in Australia are from the late 18th century and there's been a lot of redevelopment, so there aren't many suburbs predominantly filled with period homes. Not keen on all the mirrors in the kitchen; they look cheap and tizzy. Nice bathrooms and media room though.

Understand the location driving price point. For me not keen as the property seems rather strange proportions and features internally in places due to its age and being 'modernised'.....however, that's the nature of such a town house building especially in London.

A very smart home in a nice location, but it just shows how much land costs in London. I, too, would want to have the kitchen on the ground floor (I think about lugging the shopping in through the house - and such a small fridge and freezer!) - but I guess this house is not meant to be a primary family home. So I guess no one who lives there would be doing a lot of regular cooking. I think it would be a nice pied a terre in London, but for my money, I would move out of town to have more room and land.

I don't mind the house in theory but would change the layout make the kitchen larger or move it to another part of the house. I don't like the plexiglass flooring I understand the point of it but not useful in this case. An outdoor patio even a small one would be nice for the main suite. No mention of parking and a rooftop patio would also make a better garden space than the lower one. Great presentation Tom :) I have actually been in the area and was featured on another channel Rob's London I think if I am not mistaken for historical reasons.

I would destroy the office to get more garden space, put some colors into this lovely yet a tad annoying house, there isn't enough space for a proper dining room, these marble kitchen and bathrooms are ridiculous in an 18 century building (I think), and carpet in the bedrooms is a disaster. I'm not going to comment on the price because I live in Paris and I know how rocketing the prices are everywhere but I strongly doubt they will sell this house at that price. I've seen so many delightful and cosy houses on your channel, I'm a bit disappointed with this one.

Even so you own the house, do you own the ground that it stands on, because in central London most of the area is own by a Lord and the Royal Family and there is a 99 year lease that has so be renewed once the lease expires and it is up to the land owner to decide whether to renew the lease or to revoke the contract and you can end up losing the house and all the millions you spent paying for it.
