Just imagine if this house was on an expensive piece of property. The lake that I am off of a 900 ft² house built in the '50s lists for 900,000. Just an average house on the lake is 2 million.

Yes it was. And it's been expanded HUGELY and was on the market for almost THREE YEARS without one price reduction before expiring this earlier this year. The expansion and renovation is considered to be a grave insult to the history of the house.
