I've been watching these types of mansion, extreme high end homes and property tours for a long time now, but recently I have begun to be equally interested in the people living in such places, owning such places with a few fundamental questions: 1. What did they do right in life to be able to afford that lifestyle? 2. Where are they now in life and wealth-wise, happiness etc? 3. How do they use those properties? 4. What does the day-to-day life in such a place look like? And I don't mean some Kardashian reality TV but rather an honest, down to earth practical day-to-day life presentation. For the vast majority of the rest of us, we know full well and can relate to each other. We know what life is like in a regular apartment, house, in a small apartment, house or studio.
@catclark94882 жыл бұрын
It all boils down to the fact that a person or a family can only make use of and live in a limited number of rooms in a house. I can appreciate the views or the gardens from these type of homes, but most I've been seeing are are opulent and tasteless interior wise. People buy them to impress others.
@MrCharlieSurf2 жыл бұрын
I've been watching a lot of vids of the homeless down on Skid Row. Somehow I think there has to be a moment of equalisation. That is the rich and the poor meet in the middle. This obscene wealth cannot continue, nor can the obscene poverty. Therefore these extremes will eventually be cancelled out. Sad to see these beautiful works destroyed, but it will have to occur.
@ChrisKsan2 жыл бұрын
@@MrCharlieSurf I personally don't have anything against such mansions or extreme wealth. Wealth is not finite in the world. Anyone of us has the potential to achieve such wealth. It is the central banks who control the amount of money out there, they can print as they please and make money out of nothing. The way I see it, the only main barriers restricting us from such wealth are lack of proper, practical education, insufficient resolve and cultural heritage*. Yes we memorise poems and such but don't learn about how to have a healthy financial life and how to earn, make money. A lot of people want but how many are willing to put in the work and sacrifices? Some of these extremely rich are known as literal workaholics. They have been working their asses of nearly non stop for years if not decades and some are still at it to this day.
@MrCharlieSurf2 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisKsan I agree that hard work deserves reward, be that material possessions, experiences or in well-being. Sadly, as you have pointed out, central banks print money out of thin air and create wealth solely as debt. The wealth disparity has a negative impact on the vast majority of the world, especially children. Our dark overlords (meeting in Davos right now) don't care about the children. They appear to have ulterior motives in this regard. "In a democracy the poor will have more power than the rich, because there are more of them, and the will of the majority is supreme." Aristotle. Sadly, we don't live in a democracy but rather a kakistocracy where all the wealth has been transferred to the few. It's going to get messy. All that printing will lead to hyperinflation that will hurt the poor even more. They will not be able to recover, ever. The World Economic Forum says by the 2030 we will own nothing and be happy. They seem to have sealed the fate of the vast majority on this planet, unless the people awaken and arise.
@tee42222 жыл бұрын
I have some experience managing estates and Yachts for the people that own these types of places. I’ll give it my best shot. 1. Generally, in America, they started a company that did very well, or are the beneficiaries of such a company. Sometimes inherited wealth. Outside of America it’s usually inherited wealth. 2. Almost certainly they are still extremely wealthy after the purchase. I’d say the mega rich are on par with the average person as far as happiness goes. I’ve met some very unfriendly and seemingly unhappy billionaires. I’ve also met some very friendly and seemingly happy ones. You’ll certainly find more egotistical people with superiority complexes among the super rich. 3 + 4. Generally they just use it as somewhere to live and entertain for a certain period of the year. Usually they will have at least a few homes that they split their time between. Most commonly it will be a seasonal home. Sometimes they’re only used whenever they happen to visit the area. It even happens that they go unused for years, other than the crews that maintain the properties. These places may have a dozen crew that live on the property.

Enes and team thank you yet again. Love these LA homes just breathes so much life with the airiness and modern amenities. No where better to capture the vibe than Cali 🔥

I love the color palette that they chose for this house. The colors that were chosen for the bedroom furniture, the colors that were chosen for the living room furniture, and the colors that were chosen for the outdoor furniture as well. The grey white and orange colors are a stunning combination. I am going to steal that color scheme idea for my apartment bedroom decor.

Great choice! That color combo is a winner-your apartment’s going to look fantastic!

Incredible, solid construction and well thought-out! Stunning property. Might be a good idea to flash an onscreen thumbnail of the floor plan for a few seconds showing with red dot your location as you progress throughout the house. Great presentation - thank you 🙏

The sand has a lot of mass. Having that kind of weight nestled on the side of a ravine in Earth Quake prone LA hills is insane.

I've noticed here in mid 2023 that a lot of these high end LA houses appear to not be sold even after a couple of years. Many of them were priced far above market as well. I wonder if LA now has a large collection of really big new houses that are just empty and unsold. Because it kind of looks like it could be a majority of these high end homes that haven't sold. And those that have sold might have sold at half price. Which might still have been overpriced. It's quite something.

Love Enes and team and totally appreciate the quality and details most developers put into these homes, but is it just me or do the houses keep getting more and more extravagant and does one really need some of these features in a residential home? Certainly very entertaining, but once a house gets beyond 10K Sq ft I wonder whether these homes do not simply become a store of wealth... Otherwise, as addicted as the next person to Enes' (and team) videos - thanks guys!!

This might be my favorite property I've seen. The interior design is decadent and classy while still being modern and sleek. A lot of places are built to look nice in photos but are actually quite bland, this looks like it would be fun and interesting to live in.

I love these tours. This house is magnificent. The one thing I would change or suggest is - all the guest rooms have one thing lacking. All the guest rooms should have a small desk area that has a computer and a phone. I don't see how that was overlooked. They thought of everything else. I look forward to more of your videos.

Wow! It's beautiful. Enes, I counted 11 ceiling mount towel warmers at $6,000 each!! 😳 I find the whole thing fascinating! All of that furniture, fixtures and wall decor stays with the home? Or is all of that staged? And as always, you and Mikey have done a superb job!

I love watching your home tours and I love your enthusiasm! One question: why not mention the security systems? I know the owners do not want the details revealed, but surely these mega mansions must have state-of-the-art security.

I like how fictional every nook and cranny of this house. The house is huge but doesn't looks empty because the designer/s did a great job to fill it with beautiful furnitures thst make the house spacious but homey. Every place and space have a purpose and it's AMAZING! This is additional to my favorite mansions from this channel. 😘 Also, I like the idea of grass and plants (in the kitchen), it makes this mansion more alive! and the greatest thing about this mansion is, they put the thought to make rain water storage for use, what a wonderful idea.

I must say, as great as those modern LA hills mansions can be, i think that in the end, those we see tend to all look the same but with different layouts and slightly different fixtures. It's probably due to them being brand new and homestaged by the same groups of interior designers, but it somehow make them look less unique in the end. Wich i think is a bit of a shame. A bit of boldness wouldn't hurt i think.
