In the rest of Canada a townhouses sells for about 70 percent of what a house would sell for. On mls in Calgary a townhouse sells for about 33 percent of what a house sells for. This has never changed since 1980 but the locals to this day have never figured this out. This is the reason a townhouse is basically free to buy.
@specialtwice4975
@specialtwice4975 4 жыл бұрын
parkerbohnn Well technically you can buy a decent sized home in Calgary for $550,000. So it is sort of the same. I think this house is $330,000 or around there? It makes sense to me.

In Germany you always have to pay tax, if itˋs used or new doesnˋt matter. If the house is sold three times/year the staate gets tripple tax. Itˋs between 3,5% and 6,5% of the sold price, the percentages depends on the county.
