7 years ago I moved from LA to Landers, which is 18 miles from Joshua Tree. I love living in the Hi-Desert, a lot of artists and musicians have been moving out here for decades. I’m glad the Airbnb bubble has burst so hopefully investors will stop buying up the fixers. I’m still renovating my fixer, I wish I had the cash to do it right away like Mila. Nice job Mila!

The house is so simple but so full of character. Very neutral but there is always some contrasts there. Very nice design. And I understand so well about watching sunrays traveling through the house during day. It's especially great in winter season when shades are longer and sun is not that strong:)

How do you manage keep those beds outside ? I put a padded chair, or leave pillow outside overnight - and it is all torn to pieces by the morning by visiting animals.
