I have "Amazon" version and although it somewhat works, it is defective by design. It does not control arc current well. What it is inside is a 42V 130000mfd capacitor bank discharging through 0.1-0.2 Ohm resistor through stylus. The duration of the pulse is controlled in steps of 3ms up to 30ms. Since resistance is very small, it is comparable with that of wires, so it is really not predictable what will be the actual current. There is no choke (inductor) and there is no smooth current rise or regulation. As the result, the arc spot is uncontrolled while the stylus moves, and the current is larger than optimum for the used electrode diameter. It creates burns on materials that easily evaporate or meld (like bronze). It does somewhat weld stainless steel and copper. I did modify it to make it work better, but certainly it is not correct design of arc control. One can reuse some components like stylus, transformer, capacitor bank and argon valve. Reply

Thanks for showing internal view of the machine although no clue to what these parts are lol! 😁 Do you think this machine can spot weld mild steel 12 gauge wire together, also welding aluminum rods possible?

Sir weld on thicker gauges is difficult with this, for mild steel or aluminum i recommend ac/dc pulse welder.
