Welcome to 208 Brooklyn Ave a one of a kind majestic and grand landmarked limestone located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. This stunning home boast nearly 4,000sq ft while standing 20ft wide, 51ft deep on an expansive 106ft lot.
Rich in history, this beauty originally built circa 1899 has had merely three owners and is exquisitely maintained. Walking through this home is truly an uplifting experience, moving from one carefully preserved architectural element to another.
As you make your way up the impressive staircase you’ll find two graciously sized bedrooms including a primary bedroom with tons of closet space. Also featured on the top floor is a large pass through bathroom outfitted with original double vanity, claw foot tub.
There is also a basement with great ceiling height, storage & the mechanicals are in excellent working order.
A home with this detail and condition doesn’t hit the market often. This is a tremendous once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a trophy limestone on beautiful tree lined street.
This home is nearby the Brooklyn Children's Museum, and the recently renovated 4.5 acre Brower Park. Enjoy all that the neighborhood has to offer including the restaurants of Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Grand Army farmers market on the weekend. Currently, a single family however permits have been filed and can be converted and delivered as a legal two family. 208 Brooklyn Ave is a short stroll away, from the 2, 3 ,5, A, C & LIRR subway trains making it an easy commute around Brooklyn and into Manhattan.

Hello from Norway🇧🇻. My great grandparents lived in a house that was built in 1899 in Dikeman street. I have never been in Brooklyn, so this is fun to watch 👍

Absolutely stunning interior, it’s a shame so many have been ripped apart and modernised. The guilded age bought me here.

THIS is what a brownstone should look like. It was obviously a prized estate home kept in the family. I feel sad at the prospect of the new owner ripping out all of the opulent features to replace them with modern, cheap junk.

@@jec1ny Yes it does. The dry rooms do look great but have you not seen the mouldy 1980's sinks and rotting cabinetry in the bathroom at 02:38? They need tearing off. I'm assuming the kitchen must be in even worse condition as they didn't show any of it.

"Fallen in love with the neighbourhood" that's pretty presumptuous of you. Its Brooklyn after all and no amount of window dressing will change that.

Good video and presentation. But your wardrobe is distracting. A suit w/o a tie looks unprofessional. A suit w/o socks looks clownish.

@jec1ny, 🤣🤣you can’t even afford that suit.
@jec1ny
@jec1ny 2 жыл бұрын
@@rickiesmith413 Apparently neither could he. But FWIW I used to own about a dozen suits. I'm now down to three and I rarely bother with them because there are few occasions in the year 2021 that call for a suit. Typically for me its church at Christmas and Easter and the odd funeral or wedding. But I do actually understand how to dress, whether it's smart casual or business professional. A suit is a semi formal manner of dress and skipping the tie doesn't look chic or cool. It looks lazy and slovenly. Skipping socks as well as a tie makes you look like someone staggering in after an all night bender. In this day and age there is no reason for him to even bother with a suit. Few people outside of lawyers and undertakers wear them for work anymore. Even bankers dress casually. I'm fine with that. But, if you are going to put one on, then for the love of G** don't dress like someone who picked it up at the Salvation Army thrift store but ran out of money for the tie and socks.
