Cool house & landscaping. Highway would be a dealbreaker for me personally.

Did you find a link to the flooring in the basement?

Why are these houses right by the highway? Cold and too open.

Because better neighborhood locations are already occupied. Leawood ain't a new suburb.

I wonder why I enjoy looking at homes that I will never EVER be able to afford.

Whoever you are. Believe in yourself and your dreams. I myself could say the same thing as you, I’m from Africa, 27 years old, came in the U.S in 2018, currently serving in the US Army making barely any money and trust me i work every harder so i can afford a house like this or even more and i absolutely believe that i will get there.

The question is why would you want to spend 1.2 million on a home? That’s dumb AF. I have a 375k home in Olathe. 3 bedroom, 2 bath and a basement. Absolutely beautiful home. It’s crazy to me people spend 1 million on a home or 2 million on a damn car. That is madness

Quick access to the best shops and restaurants in the area…the mountain and sunken patio are a nice plus

I recommend they hire a proper architect. I am not sure what is with Nebraska and Kansas, but all their high-end homes are poorly executed on the outside.

If you decide to build this plan, you’re welcome to work with the builder and their architect on an elevation that aligns with your preference.

Maintenance nightmare too. Twin kitchen with one tucked into a closet space with upper cabinets that are completely unusable. Double oven with doors that block the entry way when opened. Forces you to put food in and take out from the side.
