Beautiful color scheme. Have been watching lots of videos on what not to do. This home has a few things that I would change. First, the "entry/mudroom" area cabinets are narrow. Would be more usable if they were wider to hang coats and put backpacks away. Upstairs, the pantry off the kitchen would be more usuable with the shelving not separated but more open. Not open shelving, but regular pantry sized shelving. Last, I watched a video about how difficult it is to clean around a soaking tub that is put up againist the wall. I think the designer or builder might want to focus on family practical ideas. Love the decking but am somewhat familar with the area and it is not exactly the greatest lot location.

i would NOT recommend painting anything to "lighten it up" (very poor taste). This place is amazing-colors, textures, material are all perfect for both male AND female.

Making note of all the dark accent walls - I’ll refer back to it when I decide to sell my house and my realtor tells me to paint mine white. “It’s ‘masculine chic’”
