Obviously the home owners don’t do much home cooking considering the decision to install fluted panels on it’s kitchen cabinets right above the cooking stove. While it’s certainly aesthetically pleasing to the eye, cleaning up after a session of heavy cooking would be a pain in the butt. I doubt the small kitchen exhaust hood that leads to nowhere would be of much help removing oil fumes during cooking as well..

Regarding the cup washer at basin. It's not that technology not there yet, this thing already been around many many many years. Bars and cafe been using similar item just that it does not have a 'ready product' that suits a home kitchen. Most IDs in Singapore are too dependent on local suppliers which do not really bring in many latest innovative products. There's so much good innovative stuff that China has been using for many years before we see them in our market. This makes many IDs have limited designs and innovations. There's risk and business aspect to consider too, that's why we are usually lagged behind by quite a few years. Another example: The cupboard pullout shelving thing, pre-covid many in China already using.
