Oh this is standard in some parts of the world (like Australia or in parts of the USA) for example :) lots of people with lots of money to build beautiful properties

The owner was the builder and general contractor. So he saved a lot in that area. Of course the land and materials were not cheap. But general contracting and building sucks a huge chunk of the construction budget.

Wonderfully minimal! We don’t have mud rooms in the UK - brilliant idea and well designed. Love the bathroom: privacy and light. Chair lift is pure 1950’s nostalgia. The landscaping will soften the exterior in time. Fab! 👏❤

Nice build, yes, charcoal or other, is a great backdrop for greenery and or snow. Great place for storing cushions agreed. Never to be used otherwised, but to store unforgotten junk! I'm surprised 2 minutes to Everything. Sure looks like it would take longer. Very simple living.

I love seeing the very personal touches to this property. I was waiting to see a pool, but no, surprisingly none! I'm guessing they're not water fans :) Or maybe it is just never warm enough.

Beautiful house! I have to ask though, don't you need window screens to keep the bugs out? I have previously asked about the curtains, and I get it, there isn't so much sunlight compared to where I live (Greece), but aren't there bugs as well?

The house is lovely. I really would like to see a new iteration for kitchens though. Everything in that area of the home is once again becoming repetitive.

House looks cheaply build from outside. but inside looks expensive than outside.

Very well designed house but the gardens are so dull . Please invest in mature or old trees and plants and do different levels and areas. And were are the water features. I know what I am talking about. Had me built a house in the Netherlands like that but invested in 80 years old trees and bushes to give the garden more personality.

It is good. Kitchen is linear, not a corner one. Ceiling is white and plain, which is very good. It looks like a stretched ceiling. Is it? But bedrooms are too simple, it is just a bed. The wall behind should always be decorated. Either some modern panels or textured walls like microcement or something else. Otherwise it looks like a dorm.
