You use PowerPoint for presentations, this is fairly normal stuff. If you're giving a briefing, it helps to have visuals to go along, PowerPoint is perfect for that. Notice how the camera pans on the rocks to the left. And stays on it for a weird amount of time. This is a misdirection. The wall is likely painted foam, making it look like some sort of granite formation. Potential locations can be deduced by the prevalence of certain rocks, especially within a small country like South Korea. They intentionally approved the footage showing the "rocks" for public consumption. Clever stuff. "Deception is real."

Of course a mountain is the best place for a bunker, but that's exactly why you wouldn't put a top secret bunker there. Odds are that the average person knows about Cheyenne. But, put that command center in Australia or Japan and you avoid being overrun by ground forces or other threats. It's all about deception.

I was stationed at Camp Colbern and almost every time we went to the field we were on the top of this mountain. I was with HHC 304TH Signal Battalion so we were in charge of communications/satellites etc. There's actually a nice gym/weight room inside that bunker amd the mess hall was awesome.
