This is 8 mos ago? I guarantee this house is valued over $1M or pretty close to it by now. My husband and I bought our 2014 home in 2018 a little over $500K in a cedar park/Leander area. (A north suburb of Austin). A home across the street that didn’t have all the upgrades, less bedrooms, and 1200sq smaller than ours sold for $700K last month in less than a week. We have a fully functional outdoor kitchen and a home theater that are very appealing. If we had other options in the area to move to, we would sell our house probably for $950K. Homes are selling well over asking price in my area. I feel for first time home owners here in Austin. Even building is much of an option as builders in some cases are 1-2 years behind.

Now these prices were like 2.5 to 3 years ago, before all the big the world and Musk and company decided to move to Austin. Now around the neighborhood where this video was filmed, you have to enter a bid to even see if you’ll even be selected/considered to build there. High bidders will win. Folks when you’re reading this kind of videos, take the time to research and found exactly what true market situation is around Austin. Sorry but this is not a great review and tour of the home. You spin through it too fast and all you keep talking about is "beautiful", "it's going to be amazing" and "huge" and small talks that are pretty irrelevant. Slow down and give technical details that someone looking to buy the place would want to know. How high is the wall, how large the rooms and dimensions, what materials is it constructed from, what sort of flooring and furnitures and fitting that comes with the house. What the neighbourhood like, the surrounding area, is it near an ocean or mountain, what are the views from the balcony like, details on lightings and other features. Are walls paper thin and you can hear the neighbours snoring from the other side of the house?

Leander is not "Austin" technically, it's a suburb of Cedar Park. Meaning it's way the F away from Austin. Just the commute alone would be over an hour plus M-F. I would never live that far from Austin. There is nothing out there. I could not even imagine trying to find stuff to do on the weekends. I guess if you like cow tipping and neighborhood watch. And for 817k that shit better have two pools and a ten car garage. It's a nice house, but way over priced for the area and amenities. Plus the energy bill and HOA on that property must be ridiculous. Anyway the inside is nice.
