Great review Marc and very well explained. I can resonate with many of these things after being part of the first cohort. Those 4 weeks were intense but at the same time extremely valuable. It was an advanced course not just to publish video but leaving our comfort zone. Gold content, powerful lessons and practical tips. Being Live added the extra point. 🚀

Absolutely. My biggest critique was just the pace - attending 3x live sessions for 2 hrs plus completing all lessons in 4 weeks is a feat! Thankfully, can complete self paced later. :)

Love watching Ali and thanks for posting this. There is one thing about the monetization quote that I found interesting. Nick Nimmin advocates monetizing videos from day 1. Whether that's an email list that you're looking for or affiliate links. He always says that you never know when a video might take off and if it's an old one that you've not got something in to monetize then you're throwing money away.

This was super helpful! I really wanted to take part in the second cohort, unfortunately it sold out before I had the chance. I was a little worried about the high cost but this helps reassure me that it really is a complete system (which I shouldn't doubt from Ali). Which level do you recommend? Did you feel the executive edition was worth $5k?

Exec edition is worth it if you aren't price-sensitive at the moment + you have the time to create the content during the course itself (6-weeks, ~1 video a week) so that you can get quick 1-o-1 feedback from Ali and the team on actual work you're producing. The live feedback and access to Ali are the only real differentiators content-wise, so if you aren't eager to take advantage of that, Premium does just as well! That said, I think there were plenty of people in exec course who only made ~1 video in the course time and didn't seem to regret it - just my personal take on how I could have gotten even more value from the experience. p.s. if you do end up signing up for cohort 3 exec and are feeling generous, get it after clicking through my affiliate link! :) rb.gy/dvtpkt
