You're clearly letting your bitterness cloud your judgement. She didn't have one flop movie and every single movie she has done, public has reviewed it with praises. Alia in Dear Zindagi, Gangubai, Raazi(one of her finest film), Badri ki Dulhania, Student of the year (her acting DEBUT which made every single guy fall for her role as Shanaya), Kalank (Roop was one of the most loved character from the whole movie and the movie consisted of what many would say the legends of Bollywood) are one of the many excellent mentionable ones that she has done.

@@onirodrigo4044 Firstly I don't think celebs who don't even pass their 12th will be into reading canon books, coz canon books need deeper understanding and analysis. Secondly there are pictures of celebrities with books like Diary of Anne Frank, To kill a Mocking Bird etc and they are happily smiling in those pictures. How does a anti-Semitic or a book on black oppression make you smile? You haven't even read the book, you have no background whatsoever but here you are using the book as a prop to showcase a fake bookworm persona. Thirdly have you seen how fake they are? They keep on talking about healthy eating, yoga etc on their social media page, they even claim to avoid junk food like French Fries etc. But behind the cameras they are immersed in drugs consumption. Some are even brand ambassador of 'Say No to Drugs'. Fourthly they pick up heavy terms from social media and use it anywhere and everywhere. Terms like racism, sexism, feminism etc. Had they understood what it is they wouldn't have called veere di wedding a women centric film. They think being rude and intolerable is all that we need to be a "feminist" . For them feminism is having alcohol openly, cussing, cheating, rolling their eyes a 100 times , going against everything conventional, winning against a man in opening a jar etc. Well Feminism doesn't endorse rudeness or intolerability or physical strength. It talks about treating woman as human beings, giving then choice, giving them freedom and respect which the society didn't till the late 19th century. Feminism is all about love, growth, independence not rudeness. And in one picture one actress claimed to have read 2 magazines, three novels on her way to London. Like really? 3novels in three days? Are you kidding me? They do just about anything to establish a fake bookworm persona, thinking people will take them seriously if they read a book. They are way too fake.

because she didn't complete her studies in some way she's prohibited to read books?? go and touch some grass. Alia is actually very bookish, she just didn't want to study because she has already built a dream for her and is very successful in her career which requires no education, it's upto some people's personal choices to study or not. Many successful entrepreneurs have also not gone beyond their high school days and THEN went on to get a degree of some sorts. Every single person in this earth reads books at least once or twice, YOU clearly seem to think book reading as a quirky personality trait. It's fun and it's educating and in many ways a form of escapism which with her field of choice a person must need.
