With the six figures of capital I could put down on this, I would still get a chuckle from the mortgage company if I asked. Who can afford this shit? They say that £80k a year in London is decent, but I disagree. £100k a year wouldn't get you a look in. It makes no sense. the location is a typical get stabbed when you come home late and get your car window broken every other week type of area. The whole house is just fresh painted but probably the stairs and all the wooden parts of the house squeak like crazy all over. The bedrooms are actually tiny, there is almost no room to do pushups or put some extra cupboards, next to the beds which are tiny......UK bed sizes are like 10cm smaller than EUrope in general......the stairs are fucking crowded because that hallway was meant to be itself, the siairs are unaturally placed there but this is normal in the UK. everythings fucking cheap and they acting like its super normal and luxurious. I didnt see a window in the downstairs toilet so if someone shits a stinker -- good luck! auwschwitchz it is. the kitchen is NOT separated from the eating table or even the hallway so everytime you cook you willl STINK the house as well as heat it up abnormally, very bad idea design for summer. Also that table is too small and poor structured for a whole family to eat comfortably IN LUXURY - let alone have some guests over ofr a special occasion. If you buy any bigger table you start to eat into the space for exiting into the garden. so again, crowded by design but they are prettending its luxury - its not, its a lie, its too small to be a human design, that is tiny non-human design. the gardne is AWFULLY BLOOD SMALL. small fence, so tall people like me can see over it and tall neighbours can see me. not to mention that the neearby buildings are probably not mortagaged because its LOndon! so you have old ugly properties on the street, probably rented to non english speaking immigrants or dangerous immigrants.......UK IS FUCKED MAN its a national sized ghetto

Open fires are the most inefficient form of heating as most of the heat goes....up the chimney. You have very little radiation heat. Also the Victorian architects were obsessed with ventilation so lots of air bricks which let in cold air...so people repkace or block them off..then u get damp in the cavity ground floor due to lack of ventilation...also many still dont have a Damp proof course which will set u back grands if u ignore that u will have problems maybe. property could be warm or cold. Depends. ..I don't think you are allowed double glazing in certain roads for aesthetic reasons so yes bay wooden windows are rattlingly cold. Also, these Victorian terraces are hiding a lot of issues you can't see , underground and the roof ...plus the chimney could be in a bad way due to the mortar falling out weakening the structure. However this appears to be of good condition but only as seen. You don't know what's going on underneath, lead plumbing etc. Damp can be hidden by clever plastering and furniture blocking. And the walls sound transfer big time, no cavity in those days. People like the Victoriana etc I did too . Just get a full survey, not quick one , done. The original architects of these attractive houses would be amazed we are still living in them, they were for 100 years max. Every 10 years...lick of paint...bit of pointing...and pray ur good for another 10. We will never ever catch up with the building of efficient, comfortable timber framed apartments which has is how is live, nice compact and modern. Gardens are a drain and a security risk. The weather in England doesn't let you enjoy the outdoors. I have a park in 1 minutes walk if it's sunny. Modern bijou living with modern materials , designated private parking is the way to go but it's not for everyone. This house has already sold i would imagine
