It's totally true that the clinician's descriptions on BPD symptoms are with amazing precision! This is one of the most accurate informations regarding BPD one could have ever listened to, and collected as well, online. The doctor is truly an expert. He knows what the real deal is about, specificly on the nine characteristic behaviours how pwbpd will typically manifest.

Please listen to the whole thing, he does sound harsh in the beginning but you will feel so encouraged by the end

If you keep listening til about 15 minutes, he begins to be far more positive and hopeful. Eventually he says Pwbpd are no less ill than someone with kidney disease etc. and they deserve proper treatment. Around 20 minutes he states he won't abandon them and in a year they will feel much better. Keep listening to the end It gets better.

To group everyone with bpd and make a statement we are all dangerous concerns me about this clinician.

I guess I’m one of the rare ones who called a clinic asking help for what I thought was undiagnosed BPD.

@@wendi2819 thank you 💛 yes I had intense therapy for 2 years (that was $1000/month!!) and have removed the toxic and abusive narcissists from my life that would intentionally provoke me to severe distress. I am doing much better! 🙏🏼

I'm my opinion as someone with BPD, the bulk of the doctors information is far outdated, unsubstantiated, severely bias, and a bit offensive. By portraying all BPD patients as untreated and possessing a very severe case. It's a very complex disorder, with a wide spectrum of severity of symptoms.

I have BPD, and I agreed, much of this was stigmatized content.

In part I agree with him in terms of Therapists who are poorly trained and do not provide patients with a diagnosis. I have been asking my current therapist about a diagnosis to no avail. I’ll be looking for someone who can help me.
