I am currently teaching English in Guadalajara. Both my wife and I are bilingual, how can we go about getting a job in California?

You do not want to teach in California. The kids behavior is horrible.

This is wonderful. Forget what the right-wing tells you, international language education is very important. Makes you more marketable to the workplace and to meet romantic partners when you get older. I wish California would be more like Canada, Wales/Cymru, Belgium/Belgie/Belgique, or South Africa as far as teaching multiple languages.

I have taught 20+ yrs. Very few bilingual teachers can barely speak English correctly. They generally role model the double negatives, grammatical errors, poor pronunciation & vocabulary usage is limited. The standard English skill level for these teachers need to be picked up a notch.

hey sir, biligual schools exit in a lot of countries, even trilingual. You can learn the language that you speak from early state of live helping to build understading, doing coneccetions of ideas from the basics, and also learn how to comunicate effectively in other languages. Is a win for mental development and increase skills

@@nyanphieWhat is the benefits of learning Spanish? These people have no power that's why they keep crossing the border. I'd rather my kid learn Mandarin or Arabic.
