The decor in this home is extremely comforting. I completely agree that massive furniture in large rooms is horrible. I much prefer smaller, more intimate seating areas. So much more homey. Thank you for this wonderful home tour!

One of my personal decorating rules is that every seat, wherever possible, should be comfortable and have good lighting and a place to set a book and a mug or glass. You have achieved this elegantly.

Absolutely incredible home and interior decorations. A home full of character. I love the way how the Eastern Indian furniture and Indian artworks are mixed together with American abstract expressionist style of paintings. Flowers everywhere around the house. Such a romance, such an exquisite taste for culture and art and such a talent for spinning out an array of so many different ideas, styles and periods and endless inspirations!

Cathy is just lovely and her home is exactly as she described: relaxed and I don't think it is "crazy" I think it is well thought out! And I am a huge fan of canopy beds. My current one is draped on all sides with an interior lining that has a reflective element to the fabric. It becomes a "tent' during NYC winters --- tucked in and relaxed ! Everyone comments with "WOW" so I guess they like it as much as I do! ❤❤❤
