China doesn't need democracy and doesn't need communism, that's just the ideology of a country. Ancient China is also very famous for its traditional medicine. and they treat people well, to foster health and foster a fairly good national spirit. China today might be said to be a democracy because of the freedom that exists, even though they are monitored by the government every day but that is for the good of their own people, and to avoid negative things such as murder, theft and all kinds of things.

I lived in the US for 20 years. Now I live in HK and travel to China every week. From what I see, China is having better subways, better trains, better roads and bridges, better malls, better parks, better governmental services, better hospitals, better elementary and middle schools, and soon better universities than the US (and HK as well). China is improving while the US is deteriorating.

It is enough to have 1 country leader, as long as the country can get a clear vision and mission to develop their country according to existing regulations and rules, rather than being a democratic country which has to change leaders every year and the policies of each leader are different and the vision and mission of changing leaders have to see whether they will continue the previous president's vision or stop the previous president's vision with the new president's vision, that is the same as slowing down the development of a country.

@snapper69996666 Good that you never have to pay for your medical needs. Unfortunately, it doesn't apply to everyone... no free ambulance for younger people like me (30s) , nor ongoing physiotherapy after 5 sessions. True that our emergency service is pretty good.. However, you need to have lots of patience when it comes to free non-urgent services. For example, in 2023, the average waiting time for community dental services stands at 16.7 months in VIC. I think the point of this video is to show Chinese efficiency. To show a different point of view from what you see on Western media. Yes , the Chinese need to pay for their service, but they get things done very quickly (Eg. Blood test, CT results within hours, many same day surgery) and the standard is quite high too. (Well. Of course depends on which hospital you go to... same in Australia)

Hospital is not free, but cheap and quick. Usually, the community will cooperate with hospital to invite the doctors go to community for giving a free physical examination for above 60 years old people. But Chinese company be asked to pay a medical insurance for thier employee. So it‘s not expensive for us.

One of my colleagues broke his arm in China. In China, there is no need to queue up to make an appointment, and the doctor can arrange surgery at any time according to your condition, because the company where my colleague works has reimbursed 80% of the Chinese social security, which originally cost 3,000 US dollars, but it only cost less than 1,000 US dollars after reimbursement. If you do not have 50,000 US dollars in the United States, you will not be discharged or even hospitalized.

everyone has read/heard about the huge problems the NHS is now going through. In fact there are plans - aren`t there - to make it insurence based rather than a tax based paid for system. Singapore has a fairly good method of insurance based health care - Hong Kong hasa both public and private with a growing interface between the two and government paid for scheme for elderly to get free private health care. the problem for the NHS is UK government military spending.

The United States is the most powerful country in the world, possessing the highest medical technology. Why does the United States have the most deaths from COVID-19 in the world? China's population is several times that of the United States. Why is China far less likely to die of COVID-19 than the United States? That's because China's public health governance is already the best in the world. If we hope that China can prevent the virus from spreading globally. That's very simple. It only needs that all countries in the world are under the leadership of the CPC. Otherwise, the Chinese government can only manage its own country well. Whether others are dead or alive, we are powerless.
