I know these videos seem to get a lot of hate and maybe they are idealized and aren’t entirely realistic but I don’t exactly subscribe to Vogue for the real “down to earth” content. While I might not have nearly any of the things this woman has, videos like this inspire me to make my own life artful in whatever way I can. Personally I enjoy a little bit of fantasy and romanticism, it keeps me going when times are bleak.

The comment section is fun because every peoples not from France are like : Woaw. This is so aesthetic. Parisian artists are so iconic. What a nice flat ! Parisians are so elegant ! And every Parisians peoples know that this is not even representative of 1% of young peoples studying art and living in Paris. 😂 I am French, I live in Paris where I study art. There is no need for bashing her. She is lucky af. She is very pretty and both of her parents are architects so she is rich. Just keep in mind that most art students in Paris are living in (like) 10m2 and eat noodles. 😂 This is Vogue. They are meant to provide you with glamour content. They will show you the most beautiful and not the typical things. I am a bit pissed though. Because I think her art is kinda not very bold. It is only my opinion. The art scene in Paris is unfair. So many artists deserve to be highlighted. Vogue is powerful enought to create new fashions and give us this thing instead. Peoples are aesthetic pleased by expected things. Bonne soirée tout le monde. Et si l'artiste de la vidéo voit ce commentaire : Tu es quand même cool. Mais bon. Je suppose que tu n'as pas vraiment besoin de l'entendre. Update : After the storm I gathered in the comment section, I gave some precisions about my sayings around the 46th comment below. I didn't expect my comment to get such an impact. I actually don't mind a lot about this woman. It is more Vogue's proposition with this short "documentary" which seems strange and not very good to me.

Ikr. I can't even relate to not having curtains. Is this part of the parisian rich artist fantasy? Imagining other people seeing you making art. Bref. I can't believe I lived for a year without anything on my windows. Not for art. Because of lazyness. And I think that a lot of parisians can't relate to having more than one window. I'm glad for her. She has a nice environment and has the luxury to have always been able to focus on her art. But please, people have to know it's just rare and... This is just an image. We don't know her. She may have existential crisis sometimes. And I'm sure a lot of us would actually have more of them is we were living her life.

That's not that point-coming from real parisiennes(I lived in Paris for a long time myself although not born there) are trying to point out that that this gives a false impression of the reality. Now as the Parisienne at the top said(I find it repugnant that the discourse is so vulgar that she was attacked, by Americans who have never lived in Paris as I have-I lived in Paris for years, and I have the honor of calling myself a parisienne on a small level, although I wasn't born there. The lady who made this comment is an artist herself, and she was simply pointing out that Vogue, although they endeavor of course to show you glamour and luxury and chic style(which we all enjoy) that they should also use their platform to showcase real artists who are just as talented if not more-the difference is that is artist has very very rich parents who have enabled her to have this very elegant apartment in this beau coin(beautiful quartier) in Paris. People need to back off Felix Morley, who had the right to let her point of view as a real Parisian be known. Why should SHE be attacked..Well actually it's a he, Felix is a guy's name...nevertheless....the point is that to give the appearance that her artwork is the reason she lives this luxe life in this chic apart. is not the reality. So people need to back off of those who do NOT agree.

You know what I’ve noticed with these videos sometimes? That people are so obsessed with wanting to see others struggle in someway. Why is that? why is it that if someone hasn’t had struggles somehow (mind you from an outside perspective, because we DO NOT know these people) doesn’t come from a “poor” family, have connections in someway people automatically bash them or degrade them? Someone is always complaining about something. And I’ll never understand why. I’ve never felt the need to bring someone down because they may have had a bit more in life than me.

The negativity is not particularly towards these girls it is towards Vogue hyping inequality and privilege.
@billieford96834 жыл бұрын
Katharine Larkin I am sick to death of your stupidly ignorant comment about privilege et al. Anyone can live like this and have a life like this if they want. Clearly you know nothing about Parisian life. When she mentions le boncoin that’s a website of people selling their own castoffs, so maybe this young lady isn’t rich. Something that irks me no end about Americans is they live in their little mundane bubbles and if they are fortunate to be able to travel somewhere outside the US they expect the rest of the world to be like the US. I hear it time and again. Apartments in Paris are handed down from generation to generation so don’t think that because something like this would cost xx number of dollars in LA or NY or Chicago that it is the same here because it’s not. My advice to you and your ilk is lose the “privilege” mantra and get out and work for what you want. You just might get it?

you would never hear about this girl if she wasnt pretty, there are many of girls who are amazing, hardworking and complete inspirations but dont look a certain way so there is no point in shining a light on them. so sick of this same pattern in videos,movies, or just all over the internet.give recognition to everyone !

Rich and white too. As a white female artist myself I would love to know more about the female artists of France who come from less privileged backgrounds.
@marike11004 жыл бұрын
@@KarlayS It's easy to find content about artists of more humble means and backgrounds. Just not on Vogue, who sell the illusion of Western beauty, wealth and style. It's all about consumerism and buying a place among the elite. Not hating on this young woman though, just saying.

You shouldn't wish to exchange your life with anybody's, every events of your life is what makes who you are, if you want to have such a life then work on your own to get to that point but comparing yourself to others won't bring you anywhere. As far as I know the most rewarding thing in life is getting to an incredible point while remembering where you come from, she certainly had a lot of luck, maybe did she work to get where she is but what about you?

@@jupl4794 I didn't say I wished it. I said if I could. Also, I can never become French no matter how hard I try 😂. I get your point tho but try to avoid telling someone what he/she should or shouldn't do.

@p0lyxena4 жыл бұрын
most of us don’t have the luxury of being bankrolled by our parents and are tired of being told that the only important artists nowadays are rich kids. just because you inherited money doesn’t mean you can produce meaningful art

Each drum hit has that punchy quality that keeps it perfectly natural and believable. When I listened to the drum hits from Angels Or Devils by Dishwalla, the drum hits have this hollowed but impactful quality to them that brings me back to when I listen to actual drums being hit. When I listened to bass guitars, the bass notes were sustained and textured. The Hi-X55 has enough resolving capability to present the timbre qualities of bass guitars and separate them from even guitars that are being strummed with the same note. This is something that I haven’t heard except in more detailed planars. Generous amounts of bass are easy to come by, but a bass region that has enough quality while still being controlled and punchy is something special. That’s the kind of bass that the Hi-X55 can produce, and it’s really a treat to hear... my wife is going to throw the dishwashing machine out of 4th floor if any of you fuckheades wanna see us fighting tomorrow please ring the door bell twice
