I’ve heard that these bikes can cost up to $80,000 for the pros. What does that entail? I would think there is a lot that goes on with the engine, but I’m not sure. Would someone that knows please explain what all they do to make the bikes cost that much? It would seem privateers don’t have a chance regarding equipment. I wish that Star Racing Yamaha just stuck to the blue front fender... I remember McGrath looking so cool on that all blue bike!
@skylerhealyvlogs96425 жыл бұрын
Their expensive because of motor work, custom parts, and their suspension. All these combined make the bike insanely expensive.
@zachjohnson68733 жыл бұрын
So the A kits depending on wether it’s showa wp or kyb, shows is the most expensive then kyb the wp the kyb kit they have is about 9,250 which is per homologation rules then Enzo goes through everything and adds there parts so about another 3,200 after that. The engine contrary to popular belive can be built if you had the money all engine components are available for purchase once everything is gone through I’m not gonna list off all the brands and parts in the engine because the list would be too long it’s about 9k then everything else hubs clamps ti bolts and parts is about another 8k so realistically this particular bike is not 80k more 35k which does not include the stock bike price because they are given to the teams. If you want to build one I can give you a full list of parts 👍🏻
@charliemike133 жыл бұрын
@@zachjohnson6873 wow! Thank you for the reply! Someone arbitrarily said $80,000 talking about the works bikes before the rules changed and I just went with it. I would love to build one, but I’m a poor ass homeless vet. Anyway, thank you for explaining in such good detail.
