In El Salvador, there’s a prison that defies everything you think you know about imprisonment.Unlike the notorious CECOT prison, known for its strict control over gangsters, La Granja and La Esperanza focus on transformation, not just punishment. As part of President Bukele's Plan Cero Ocio, these prisons are turning convicted criminals into doctors, carpenters, artists, and more.
In this exclusive video, I take you inside these unique facilities to meet the inmates learning life-saving skills, crafting furniture, and even playing in a full prison band. This is a rare look at a side of El Salvador’s prison reform that’s breaking boundaries-and possibly setting a new standard for the world. Join me on this journey as we dive into one of the world’s most unusual prison systems and explore how it’s changing lives.

As a former Corrections Lieutenant I can say that this idea is perfect. The problem within the states is all the rights prisoners have, only to never accomplish anything just cause more destruction to family's, and to the inmate themselves. The idea of "no down time" or zero time...is fantastic. Leave better than you came. Brovo

Another sign of Bukele's genius: gangeros get sent to a hell prison and are forgotten. Common criminals are given a chance. Let us REMEMBER that El Salvador is a poor country. 1000,000+ views, its what this video should have by now. Bruh knock it out of the park! Timmy first time watching you but not the last. This man deserves a journalistic award. Thank you for shading light on this subject. All the detractors should watch this and bow to Mr Bukele for the amazing Nobel of the Peace work he is doing. Keep up the good reporting hermano.

Kurtcaz is done bnb is done Roberto is done bunch of traveling KZbin’s are done , Timmy is the only one going down and deeper in almost taboo levels which no one is talking!it’s quite refreshing to discover Timmy and how he has evolved in a more social real life scenario in the last 3 months. Production level , narration quality has also dramatically jumped into the good direction. This videos are becoming more engaging as the tim3 passes by . I am literally hooked, on man jimmy good job mate. Wishing you to stay true and not sell of likes a bunch of others. Stay true stay 7nderground piss out yo !

Fortunately, we have a decent amount of great human beings producing these informative videos on KZbin. Bald, Kurt, now Timmy. Here in Spain we also have 2 great ones, Lethal Crysis and Clavero, the best ones in my opinion from all I saw. I think they also have some videos dubbed or subtitled, I recommend checking them out.

In El Salvador there are 2 types of prisons, the normal prisons and the CECOT, in the normal prisons there are criminals, perhaps of robbery or theft, who seek to rehabilitate to reintegrate into society, but those imprisoned in the CECOT will not leave there because to the damage they did and that their sentences reach up to 100 years
