That last tip about watching the other foot, instead of the target foot, has immediately changed how successful my foot sweeps have been in the last few days. Mad props

Prior to 2010, IJF allowed leg and foot grabs, but because judo was looking more like wrestling and almost identical they decided to ban it entirely, which sucks, as there are many techniques in judo based on leg grabs
@Todo_fighting Жыл бұрын
WJF and kosen judo still allowed leg grabs( wjf partially) but those federation aren't very popular.

I know its been a year, but Ko Uchi Gari is often called the "Jab of Judo." I used it in wrestling and MMA as well.

TL : Dr Kouchi gari with ouchi gari, and uchi mata have amazing chain potential Kouchi gari -> ouchi gari or to uchi mata Ouchi gari -> front uchi mata or kouchi gari. The great things about foot sweep they are like jabs but for stand up grappling. Chaining those 3 technique to shift your opponent's balance. ( Let's say you are right leg forward) Kouchi attacks the right side Ouchi attacks the left or back side Uchi mata attacking the front. ( if there are other judokas/wrestlers let me know what you think)

I've wrestled and shuai chiao most my life, shuai chiao its foot seizing, ... it also works good if you pull your opponent to you, you just attack the foot that comes forward, dorsiflex footwork is a very good skill to learn .... thanks for making these awesome videos!!

You're a genius you see things so clear and you can explain them perfect. I do bjj and I destroy people with the things you show and my execution is garbage. But those amazing techniques make even me o.k. in stand up. THANKS
