I had the pleasure of meeting him personally some 30 or so years ago at the Hotel Raphael in Rome where a few top designers were finalising preparations for a major fashion show. He was so simple and charming despite being at the head of an industrial empire. What a lovely man.

One of the very few REAL fashion designers, grazie Mr. Armani! Minutes 7:12, 9:14, 21:07 are very true. I don't think the reporter was the best choice to do the interview, at least they should bilingual to allow for a more interesting dynamic and relaxed dialogue instead of what seems to be as if a sort of connection is lost.

Personally I am not a huge fan of Armani products and I think his way of doing clothes is a bit conservative but I also think he is a great man that made most amazing empire and for that he is to be respected. The interviewer is rude... especially at around 19:20. "When the day comes when you are no longer able to run the business..." sounds like he assumes it true; also he sounds like I'm an "entrepreneur too and thus can understand you," which I think why some said he's pompous.

i hate how imran interviews people, it pisses me off, I can't quite put my finger on how/why, maybe its his way of delivering his speech or something, it's very teacher like and not very open, he needs to work on that, good interview otherwise

J32515 I quite agree with that, the way he's sitting on the edge on the chair almost, and leaning towards him, the way he's delivering the questions are quite irritating. A more relaxed open way of asking to make it more of a natural interview and not bullet points questions would be a lot better. However, like you said, the interview is great in general.
