Real marble may be lovely but extremely hard to maintain and needs to be sealed yrly. Might be easy for an interior designer to do but incredibly annoying and costly for normal people. Gorgeous flat though. Love the colour theme

I would agree with you and historically it is why we have recommended against use of marble in the past. However, we've just started using a product called Anti Etch. It is applied once and has a 10 year guarantee.. Doesn't need to be sealed yearly and no maintenance. Hope it becomes more widely available and known about.
