I just know someone has good taste when they reuse and repurpose things, like that dining table for me is the star of the show, it's just such a great idea to have all the kids' felt tips and pen traces, it's something u can keep forever and pass on even. Honestly brave!!

The reinstatement of all the Edwardian details is just perfection! I do wish people would understand that a home's original architecture is what should be the main influence on the styling inside. This home shows how easy it is to have all the modern conveniences whilst honouring the home's roots first and foremost. Stripping a home of its original identity is like taking away its soul imho. Beautiful home.

If you have the space, i also think having a laundry room on the floor is a game changer. Great if you have extra space to dry clothes on rack that can't go in the dryer. Keeps downstairs void of clothes 👍🏾

The kitchen is brilliant love the bar and those pocket doors are crittall is amazing. Love also the entrance as well very charming. The brick is great gives character in the room that otherwise might not be as textural. Cinema room is also very textural and calming even if you just sit in the room is sweet. A bar? interesting indeed. Boot room is smart and organized and transitional if you ever needed storage you have it. Your sitting room is charming love that fireplace you did well I am envious. I would have changed the stairs too I can't stand glass stairwells I don't trust it. Love the downstairs loo brilliant sense of humour :) You have room for a chaise longue in your sleeping quarters but hey some ppl like to have room to walk around why not :) Your home has personality nothing wrong with it as it happens kids are like that it's memories :) A lot of clever designing there :) I was surprised you put the washer dryer in your sleeping quarters but I suppose it would be one of those that's quiet so you wouldn't hear it. Well done Louise and LH very inspirational home nothing wrong with being house proud and in development keeps things interesting :) Not sure I would rent out my home but hey if you are away for periods I suppose it works you must have line up of people wanting to stay in it now ;)
