I am a British citizen and wish my country could have better relations with the Islamic world. I'm from the U.S. Born and raised. I had the privilege to visit Iran twice within the last 3 years. It was absolutely beautiful!!! The people are so genuinely nice and hospitable. There was so much beautiful architecture and such profound history throughout the country. I always felt very, very safe as well. Iranians are very cultured and secular people. They are pretty much the opposite of the Saudis in that regard. Young people and even everyday folk like the west. Even the type of Islam they practice is poetic and mystical unlike Sunni Islam which is far more cut throat
