edbro Aotearoa she took $12b in Aid assistance but only $600m is for medical expenses. That’s not protecting the NZ people bro. If a large number of people get sick, $600m won’t last very long. The other $11b went to beneficiaries. National asked for the lockdown 2 weeks before it came in action but Ardern turned it down multiple times. Only when it got serious with over 200 cases did she enforce a lock down.
@myssee
@myssee 4 жыл бұрын
OVERLAND GLOBAL not beneficiaries it went to work and income to help subsidise those who have temporarily been unemployed due to covid19 to carry them over for the duration of lockdown. Yes this is only temporary measures and yes it is a large portion but this is most of our country that have jobs that are not essential to keep going during lockdown. Not everyone is lucky to continue to be paid while isolated or can continue to work cos its essential for them to do so, look at the wider picture dont nit pick. And if jacinda did place the lockdown earlier like National wanted then for sure that $12b will have been sucked dry earlier rather than later. Shes doing the best she can better than other countries. If a large number get sick its not because of her strategy to protrect her country its because people are arrogant and stupid not listening to advises, stay home isolate and be vigilant about hygiene (common sense really). Isolate and celebrate man🤙🏽😎

Dear New Zealanders, Please follow the rules (only for people who are not following the rules). Well done those who are following them. Please keep following the rules. Save your country. You are lucky to have New Zealand as your country. Save it. No other prime minister is as honest as yours. Not even mine. No other prime minister is working as hard as yours. Your prime minister is spending a lot of money on you all. She says your health is more important than money for her. Please prove that she is right in spending that much money and energy on you. Prove that you are worth it. Even if you are not doing it for your prime minister, do it for your country and for your lives. May your mountains ever be freedom's ramparts on the sea. No one can save you if you don't save yourself. Please save your country, please save your lives. This is a request from a foreign New Zealand fan. Thank you.

"No other prime minister is as honest as yours". Not sure what makes you think that. I think folk in other countries get a very idealized picture of her. I voted her in but it was bad mistake. Food is being given to the poor but the people are stealing them. Food is not reaching the poor people houses. Actually I don't know about other prime ministers all I know is that I'm a fan of NZ since I was 2 years old and she is better than ours. I hope in the next election you get the best pm. @@meowmeow890 "NZer's choice is the best". Yes that's called Democracy. We are slowly losing our freedoms here in NZ. We are headed down a dark path that leads to the same situation your country is in. We are headed towards a police state. The measures being used right now may be temporary, but it will result in some very negative and permanent changes to our way of life. Sadly, this is a global thing and in many ways little old NZ is just a pawn on a chessboard. A new global order is on the way and it is rotten to the core.

My sphincter is twitching a wee bit. I'm anal about avoiding this thing, so much so that I've quit my job as an 'essential' worker, just to do my bit for society and go into isolation for four weeks. Keeping busy in my shed I managed to get a grinding spark in my eye and needed medical attention to get it dug out. I rang my local GP and the first thing the receptionist asked me was, whether I felt crook or had any flu like symptoms. Feeling fine, I informed her accordingly, and she told me that the surgery door was locked, and upon arrival, just to knock, and they'd let me in. I asked if I should wear a mask and she said no. After I arrived, they let me in to see the Dr. The first thing that struck me was no one was 'heat zapping' me, nor was anyone wearing a mask. I asked the receptionist, despite me if I feel well, how do they actually know if I am well? She responded with "well, that's just it". Anyway, I went into the doctor's surgery and noticed he too was not wearing a mask. He then leaned over me, for to dig out the object from my eye, and I could literally taste his breath, like he was doing mouth to mouth for around 20 minutes. I thought medical professionals should be wearing masks with all this Coronavirus, am I at major risk now of catching this fuckor or what?
@SeriousSchitt
@SeriousSchitt 4 жыл бұрын
How do you cut a long story short? Anyway, it doesn't look like I am at any greater risk, either to myself or the public at large (or perhaps the complete opposite, what chance do any of us have of keeping safe with good old Kiwi attitude of 'she'll be right mate') if the only comment I get is by a reader whose more worried about the story being too long! It's like the 'virus' hoopla is decidedly second rate by comparison.

Lily G As far as I know, people are allowed to go out for exercise, which includes walking! And it makes sense that a lot more people are doing so because thousands aren't working now. I'm a Kiwi who lives in Brisbane and I've had trouble finding groceries, but keep getting told off for being out. I realise that most of them say it out of concern, yet I'm allowed to go out to buy groceries, as long as I'm careful. People saying things is adding to the stress and they're out too. Lol. I'm even thinking about putting a sign on myself, so they'll leave me alone. Another thing is that some people have trauma issues and will get worse if going out for at least a walk isn't an option. 🙂
