It's so amazing how far Issa has come and what she's built. But it's in no way surprising. I remember when I first discovered Awkward Black Girl as a sophomore in college. Thank you for making me feel batter about myself, I'm 22 years old and I'm doing a degree that I don't fully enjoy. I'm planning to start a degree that I enjoy next year. Letting me know that not everyone has it all figured out and I should explore new things, I'm actually doing that now. I am very much interested in a career in sports and entertainment for sure. I love the fact that the work environment is not that serious, everyone is comfortable and that everything is team orientated and the perks that come with it like attending music or sports events as a part of work, lol. I just don't know what exactly I want to do in the industry, but I'm more into media and interviews and also the producer role. I'm still unsure though.
