I’ve flown both ANA regular business class and JAL business class recently and while both are really great, I personally think JAL’s service and catering is better than ANA’s. Also I think JAL’s bed is a bit more comfortable however the suite is obviously much narrower (but really private, too). Both airlines are amazing, hands down among the best in the skies!

I’ve been on quite few JAL/ANA flights but I’ve got one today. Unfortunately it’s an older ANA business since it’s from SEA where they only fly 787. Last July I flew the Room from LAX then back on JAL business. I prefer the ANA business even with the older seat. Flown ANA first couple of years back and that was sublime, but not worth the price difference for, business unless you get a good point redemption.

Hi, Can you explain a bit more about how you booked the flight? Did you book on avianca website? Reward availability?

I booked it through the Avianca LifeMiles website very last minute and I transferred Amex points to LifeMiles. I’m not sure why it was only 63k points, it’s typically 90k on that route.

Availability is going to be very limited, your best bet is looking last minute. You can also search Air Canada’s website as well, sometimes that’s a bit faster - you can buy Air Canada miles pretty cheap right now.

I would make your videos longer, 20-30 minutes, where you could talk in a conversational tone vs a news reporting pace (too fast). It may be just me, be the opening seconds of your channel video is extremely unsettling. I just can't take that jarring sound.

Thanks for the feedback, but personally I would find that very boring to watch and plenty of people already do that type of video. I’ve found that when I’ve had longer conversations on camera people stop watching or skip past.
