Cabin on the Alaska Marine Highway Bellingham WA to Skagway AK and White Pass & Yukon RR (Wed to Sunday) Much of the way is via the Inside Passage; an unending succession of interesting experiences and sights. Did much of it in 1985, would be fun to see it today. Not fancy (cafeteria food) but not roughing it by any means.-- Jerry (Margrete was my late beloved Norwegian Forest Cat.) --Jerry Pinkepank

@ in terms of seeking adventure and the unknown it felt like stepping into an alternate reality. Everything has such purpose and is well maintained. Tokyo is the mostly densely populated city on earth and yet everyone does their bit to keep the place spotless. It’s not full of modern new cars as I expected (sure they exist but not where the kudos lies in their society) instead I saw thousands of 20/30 year old classics perfectly maintained. The infrastructure is so in harmony with its surroundings yet so functional. The people are I must admit as a Brit a little bit reserved for me to be able to grow an emotional bond with. I felt like a stranger, a visitor and nothing more. And yet that was ok, a little unusual but I sensed such a deep history beneath everything. Who would I be with my uncouth ways be to spoil such a manicured set of islands. I have an admiration and fondness for the Japanese, not like a friend like say the Thai people or maybe another European nation. But like an elder I should respect when I’m in their gardens. I look forward to going again but not out of excitement but pure curiosity, fascination and respect. We could all learn something from the Japanese.

As a 13 year old American kid back in 1999, I was lucky enough to visit Aso, Japan through a sister city program. It forever changed my life and I dream of the day that I might be able to go back. Japan was a surreal experience and will always stand as the best trip I have ever had the pleasure of going on. The families that let me stay with them were so accommodating and I'll never forget them.

I dont want to bring in nostalgia or sadness. But I really feel the need to convey how valuable is that you can experience that with your father. Mine sadly made some stupid financial errors and the amount of debt and all the shame he received from it destroyed him, making it almost impossible to have him for an adventure like such, altough in my childhood he always took me with him to nice trips and unforgettable experiences. As debt and some mistakes can take the spark of life away (at least for now) many thing can happen. I really wish you could enjoy time with your dad every single second and cherish it as the most valuable experience you may live. Remember life has its turns, it may take you out and rub you against the floor in unexpected ways as it did to me. And no matter what happens, moments like that with your bloodline are the real things that define how you are and what you want to be. Keep it up! Do what you like, like what you do.❤

Beautiful train! I laughed at 14:35 with the Usopp statue standing so proudly I wasn't expecting that but it made this One Piece fan very happy to see. I'd love to see you explore Japan more and experience the exotic luxury that Japan has to offer from small to big. It's my dream country to visit and possibly live there someday. As far as the bar not allowing pictures that's semi normal across Japan, certain areas whether it be entertainment or onsens, prefer no photos to respect other people's privacy and cameras can be distracting when they want you to fully focus on the experience.

I don’t drink tea or alcohol and health issues wouldn't allow me to eat much of the food. That said, this was AMAZING!!! Excelling in engineering, the Japanese are also EXCELLENT hosts. They have thought of EVERY thing for your comfort. From umbrellas for the rain to soft silky pajamas! Even the high-speed ferry was lovely. And while tour buses here have a bathroom in the back corner, it is TINY & usually smelly + disgusting! And l'd never ever heard of a little kitchen on board!! Wow!! I must admit your sleeper mini apartment is fancier than the 1-bedroom apartment l live in!-- At this point, l really don’t care where the train is going, l just want to live permanently in your luxury train suite, ha!ha! Absolutely incredible journey and video! Thanks for sharing!👍😃🐾🌈☮️🇨🇦

This train is fancier than I thought. I remember one of your viewers suggesting this train. Glad to finally get insight into it and the excursions. It's really wonderful, and your dad playing the drums was a fun clip. And the price for two is well worth it. Especially since the video itself is a success.

Could someone make a train that's nicer than Amtrak but not a super-duper, luxury expensive train for the USA...please?
@LeeAnneGomes
@LeeAnneGomes 2 ай бұрын
That's unfortunately a question of lobbying. The automobile and airline industries have spent a lot of money ensuring that rail travel is not a viable competitor for infrastructure funding in the US. Don't like that? Write your congresspeople.

Have you heard of Brightline in Florida? It departs from Orlando airport if you’re taking it from the north and stops at West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, Miami 16 day and some of them also stop at Boca Raton in Aventura. There are two classes and some people say it’s expensive even the economy class called Smart class, but they always have a lot of specials if you check on their website I’ve taken it three times and always enjoyed it!!!

@@SquishyOfCinder its not hate, its to save ppl like you from just giving him god status for something he didn't do. Would you say you treated your friend to dinner if someone else paid for you both? I mean, its cool for the dad to get to tag along but its of no effort on his part. he's paid and gets to take probably 2 people with him and you saw all those photographers in the cabin, this is a special promotional tour so all guests probably has some sort of influencer gig and the way he talked and explained minute boring details let me to belive that everything is scripted and heavily restricted in terms of what's being said and shown. Also i don't know about the "7 Star train", what star system is that, i mean the place is actually called "7 star" so maybe it's just meant to sound like its a 7 star michelin awarded train or whatever. the longer i looked the more frustrated i got and i only zapped for a short while. my "angry" comment should be viewed as straight info to gullable people who prase a false god.
